A newer cocktail, the Lemon Drop was created in the 70's in San Fransisco as a liquid version of the oh so famous lemon drop candy. Served as a shot or martini, we prefer the fancy, pinky up, half-sugared rim martini version - with our own flair of course.
2 oz Vodka
1 oz Lillet Blanc
1 oz Lemon Juice
3/4 oz Simple Syrup (1:1 ratio)
Sugar rimmed glass
Garnish: Lemon Wheel
Wet the rim of a martini or coupe glass with lemon juice and roll in sugar to rim. Combine ingredients in a shaker with ice and shake well. Strain into sugar rimmed glass. Garnish with a lemon wheel and enjoy.
